I also had some cake pops from Funky Food Gifts, in three different flavours; lemon, chocolate, and red velvet. These make a really cute table decoration as you can stand them up in a vintage style jar or glass and tie them up with ribbon. They were really yummy balls of cake wrapped in melted chocolate and decorated with sprinkles!
I am always looking out for new gifts – ideas for birthdays, Christmas and other celebrations. It’s nice to give a gift that gives children something to do, an activity to get their teeth into after the birthday hype is over.
The kit contained almost everything we would need to make cake pops, the only additions being butter and an egg. My daughter asked to do some baking one morning before nursery, so I thought this was the perfect kit to do just that with.
When choosing presents for loved ones, I tend to look for something a little more unusual & thoughtful and I think food gifts are perfect for those who are tricky to buy for. I personally would be delighted if I opened a present to find a foodie related gift; whether it's beautiful to look at, practical in the kitchen or something that is going to make me go "Yum!" - I love it all!
Wow what a busy few days! We are so pleased to share with you that our Cake Pops, which are lovingly created by The Baking Tree were featured on last nights (12/3/14 10pm ITV2) episode of The Only Way is Essex.
