Tipple Tails fruit cakes are hand crafted with great care, juicy and big on flavour and really good to eat – just lovely, uncomplicated food. Tipple Tails Head Cook & Bottle Washer, Jane Stammers has worked hard to source all the elements of her mouth-watering cakes from as close to her home at Wadsley Hall Farm in Sheffield, South Yorkshire as possible. Using really good ingredients from local producers, these delicious, juicy fruit cakes are packed with fruit and nuts and infused with unusual tipples, made by a master infuser just a few miles from the kitchen – cake which is really worth eating!
PROVENANCE IS IMPORTANT TO US! Our fruit cakes are made with free range eggs, laid by happy chickens just a couple of miles up the road at Dunsford Bridge, our butter comes from Longley Farm in Holmfirth, home to Nora Batty and Compo and our flour from Driffield millers, Bradshaws.
Just to let you know that the cakes do contain lots of nuts, and wheat and dairy products. Each cake weighs at least 454g (that's 1lb in old money!). The cakes will keep for at least 12 months in the tin but they're so tasty, they don't tend to hang around for that long!

We use Royal Mail to send our cakes. If we receive your order before 12pm (UK Standard Time) we will do our very best to pop it in the post the same day. If we get your order after 12pm, it will leave our kitchen the next working day. If for any reason we’re not able to do this we’ll get in touch with you by email to offer you a different product, a later delivery date, or, if you’d prefer: a refund. And just so you know, we don’t send out any items at the weekend or bank holidays and we are closed between Christmas and New Year.
Refunds are considered on an individual basis. As we send out all our products in perfect condition can not guarantee that the delivery handling will be perfect all the time despite we make sure that the package labelled properly and clearly about handling. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you have problem with your purchase. Refunds based on proof of damage so it is required to supply photographs about damaged items. Refunds does not include postage fees. Custom orders can`t be refunded.
Lost/Non arrivals: All orders are expected to arrive at the shipping address provided no later than 5 business days after the 'shipped' notification email, this will be extended in seasonal peak times to 10 business days. Orders that fail to arrive at their destination after 15 calendar days will be treated as lost. Customers must contact us within 21 calendar days of the 'shipped' notification to be eligible for a refund, after this time store credit may be offered at our discretion.
